CHANDIGARH: A dramatic scene unfolded during a protest by Akali Dal Waris Punjab De in Chandigarh on Wednesday. A protester climbed onto a water cannon vehicle as police deployed water cannons to disperse the demonstrators. The protest was organized by members of Waris Punjab De, who were demanding the release of their MP, Amritpal Singh, along with other Sikh leaders.
